Snow crab from the Sea of Japan is known locally as "Mastuba crab" and is available from 7 Nov until the end of March. Known for their ample & sweet meat, the Matsuba crab can be enjoyed in a variety of styles including boiled, hot pot, grilled, sashimi and of course the delicacy "kani miso".
