FAQ | Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei

Could you pick me up at JR Kinosaki Onsen Station?: In the Kinosaki Onsen, we have a free shuttle bus service. We request that you inform us of your arrival time at Kinosaki Onsen Station in advance.
Please inform the person standing in front of the free shuttle bus stop at the rotary in front of the JR Kinosaki station area your name and Nishimuraya Shogetsutei, and board the free shuttle bus.

When is the check in time and check out time?: Usually, check in time is from 3:00p.m. to 6:00p.m., and check out time is 10:00a.m. the next morning. If your check in time might be after 6:00p.m., please call to inform us (0796-32-3535).

Do you have a room with open air bath?: We have two kinds of the rooms, the guest room with open air bath, and the special room, Kagetsu, with open air bath.

Do you have a room having two separate spaces?: We have two kinds, one is Wa yo shitsu, which consists of a Japanese room and a Western room with twin beds, and the other is Kagetsu, which consists of a Japanese room and a living room.

Do you have rooms with beds?: In Wa yo shitsu(Japanese western style room), a room with two beds is available.

What kind of facilities are available in the rooms?: A bath and a toilet.(not a one unit type)
In the bath room, there are a bath tub and shower, and in the toilet, there is a washlet.

Please tell me about the rooms.: We have the following.
In a room, we have an air conditioner, a refrigerator , a TV , a telephone, and a safe.
In the wardrobe, we have a Yukata, an Obi, and a Hanten (short coat worn over a Yukata in cool weather).
In the bathroom, we have a hair dryer, some bath towels, some face towels, some soap,some tooth brushes, some tooth paste,and a razor, some shampoo, some rinse, and some body soap.

Please tell me about dinner?: From the 1st of April to the 6th of November, we prepare "Seasonal Kaiseki Cuisine, or a seasonal meal of dainty and refined Japanese dishes, each served individually" using either selected Japanese Tajima beef, or seafood from the Japan sea, and a seasonal ingredient from the Tajima area. From the 7th November to 31st March "Crab Kaiseki" using Mastuba crab and selected Japanese Tajima beef, and " Crab zukushi, a full course of crab dishes.

What time is dinner?: Usually, dinner time is between 6:00p.m. and 7:00p.m..

What do you do for people with allergies of special kinds of food?: If there is a food you can not eat,we ask you to please inform us one day in advance. We can either change the food or we can supply a substitute cuisine.

If we stay several days, does the dinner menu change?: The menu changes everyday after the first day.

Please tell me about breakfast.: Breakfast is the buffet style having more than 30 items, such as local seafood, miso soup (with a lot of ingredients), Tajima vegetables in season, fresh salad and fruits, etc..

Please tell me about the spa inside the hotel: We have two inside spas, one for men and one for women. These spas have a big bathing areas, an open air bath, a jacuzzi, and a mist sauna.
You can use these spas from 5:30a.m. to 10:00a.m., and from 3:00p.m. until 12:30a.m..

Is the spa in the hotel a natural spa?: The spa inside our hotel is a natural spa, but the bath in the rooms are not natural spas according to regulations.

Please tell me about the outside public spas in Kinosaki Onsen.: In Kinosaki Onsen, there are seven public natural baths called Sotoyu, or outside spas.
The closest outside spa is Kono yu, and it takes about 10 minutes on foot from our hotel. For other outside spas, please use the free shuttle bus from our hotel to Sato no yu located in front of JR Kinosaki Station.

We have free coupons for outside spa use, please use the tickets from your check-in time 3:00p.m. until your check out time 10:00a.m. the next day. Use as many times as you like.( However before your check in, or after the check out, you can not use the free coupons.)
Business hours and holidays are different for each outside spa, therefore before you go out please confirm at the front desk.

What is included in the charges?: Usually, room charge, meal fee (dinner and breakfast), consumption tax, and bath tax (adult, 150yen per person)

Please tell me about the child charges?: Charges differ depending on the age of the child.
Please refer to the following information, then please inform the front desk of the number and ages your children, when you make your reservations.
Age of 10 to 12 years old
Price : 70% of the basic price of the adult
Dinner ( smaller plates than the ones for adults), Yukata, bedclothes, and breakfast
Age of 7 to 9 years old
Price: 50% of the adults basic price
Dinner (For children), Yukata, bedclothes, and breakfast
Age under 6 years old
According to your request, we can prepare the followings items at the following prices.

When should I pay?: When checking out your bill will be presented to you at the front desk.
If your reservation was made by the internet, payment can only be accepted by credit card.

Can I pay by credit card?: The following credit cards can be used;
China UnionPay,Visa,Master,American Express,JCB,Diners,UFJ,UC,DC,Nicos.

Can I use the internet?: A (free of charge) PC is located in the lobby please inquire at the front desk.
For guests with notebook computers, a wireless LAN environment is supplied. For details, please inquire at the front desk.

Is massage service available?: Yes. A massage service is available according to the following price list.
