Regulations

This facility requests that every guest comply with the following Terms of Use in order to ensure a safe and pleasant stay in accordance with Article 10 of the Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Contracts. Please be aware that failure to abide by these rules will result in refusal of accommodation and/or use of other facilities within the premises, and in some cases, you may be asked to pay for damages and losses. The following Terms of Use also apply to non-overnight guests (lunch/dinner guests, etc.).

  1. The use of fire in halls and rooms for the purposes of heating or cooking is prohibited.
  2. Smoking in places prone to fire damage, such as in bed, is prohibited.
  3. Tampering with firefighting equipment is prohibited, as it compromises the safety of the facility.
  4. Actions that cause discomfort or nuisance to other guests, such as loud singing, making loud noises, etc., are prohibited.
  5. The following items are prohibited inside halls and rooms:
    - Animals and birds
    - Anything with a strong foul odor
    - Unreasonably large amount of goods
    - Easily ignitable or flammable products, such as explosives or volatile oil
    - Guns, knives, swords, etc., without legal authorization for their possession.
  6. Gambling and other disorderly conduct in the halls and guestrooms are prohibited.
  7. Inviting visitors into your room is prohibited; only registered guests are permitted to use guestrooms and their facilities and amenities.
  8. The use of facilities, amenities and supplies of the halls and guestrooms for unintended purposes is prohibited.
  9. The use of facilities, amenities and supplies of the halls and guestrooms for unintended purposes is prohibited.
  10. Moving guestroom amenities and supplies outside of the rooms or the premises is prohibited.
  11. Affixing/installing foreign objects/devices onto or making alterations to the current state of the Ryokan buildings, facilities and fixtures on the premises is prohibited.
  12. Draping/hanging goods that spoil the external appearance of the facilities/premises is prohibited.
  13. Distributing any advertising goods/tools to other guests within the premises is prohibited.
  14. Leaving personal possessions unattended in the halls and the lobby is prohibited.
  15. Ordering food or drink delivery services from outside the premises is prohibited.
  16. Laundry left with us or forgotten personal items will be kept for one month after the guest's departure.
  17. Please note that a facility use charge will be added when guestroom phones are used.

Safety & Disaster Measures

Our ryokan is equipped with facilities that meet the latest disaster prevention standards.

However, if trouble should arise, we ask you to remain calm and act carefully. The following also applies to non-overnight guests (lunch/dinner guests, etc.).

Policies & Rules

  • When you arrive at your guestroom…
    • Please confirm at least two emergency exits near your guestroom using the emergency evacuation map affixed to the inside surface of your door.
    • All rooms have two escape routes in different directions; please take time to walk through them to confirm.
    • Smoking in bed or while walking is prohibited.
  • In the event of encountering a fire...
    • Set off the nearest fire alarm, or contact the front desk by dialing 9 on your guestroom phone.
    • Yell loudly to notify other guests around you.
    • If you are able to extinguish the fire, use the fire extinguisher or other methods. If you realize that you are unable to extinguish the fire, evacuate immediately.
  • If a fire breaks out on the premises…
    • If a siren or emergency broadcast on television notifies the outbreak of fire, remain calm, and evacuate immediately from the nearest emergency exit.
  • When evacuating…
    • Please follow the directions of our staff or the emergency broadcast.
    • When leaving your guestroom, make sure to close the door to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
    • Cover your nose and mouth with a wet towel.
    • Maintain a low posture, move along the wall, and select an evacuation route in the opposite direction from the smoke.
    • Never, for any reason, go back to your room to retrieve your valuables, etc., after you have left your room, as it is extremely dangerous.
    • At nighttime, take the emergency flashlight available in each guestroom when evacuating.
  • If an earthquake occurs…
    • Please follow the directions of our staff or the emergency broadcast.
    • Step away from the window and all glass.
    • Watch out for falling objects, and protect your head.
    • Please extinguish cigarettes/cigars immediately.
    • Never use the elevator in the case of an earthquake.

Cancellation Rules

* % is percentage of the reservation rate.
* The schedule also applies to customers not staying overnight such as lunch, dinner, etc. In that case, please substitute "guests" for "rooms".
* "No show" means when guest does not arrive and does not contact to cancel.
