Located in the Hiratakan annex of Nishimuraya Honkan, the luxurious space of Horai will have you feeling like time itself has stopped.
Features two main guest rooms (12 and 6 tatami-mat size), a generously sized living room, and open air bath. The large window looks out onto the Hirtakan garden as well as the base of a forest shrouded mountain. Your time in Japan demands nothing less than the finest in luxurious comfort.
Relax in the open air bath as you take in both the outside beauty and the fresh scents of the Japanese cypress wood.
* The water of the open-air bath is regular heated bath water, and not natural hot spring water. This is by rule in Kinosaki Onsen.
The Hiratakan Annex building and Horai Suite Room was designed by the master sukiya-style architect Masaya Hirata and is considered one of his signature designs. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the heated open air bath after you privately served dinner, and then unwind in the living room as you admire the splendid view. We think you’ll agree that Horai is one of Nishimuraya Honkan’s finest rooms.
